Pete Edwards
Pete received a Masters of Professional Writing (MPW) from USC in 1997 after completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Princeton University. He has been actively involved in education since 1989, working with students both in the classroom and one-on-one. In addition to founding his bespoke academic mentoring company, Achieve Tutorials, Pete has started his own Ed-Tech company, designed courses and created content for several online products, and is the author of education and test prep books. He still works with students on a regular basis to help them achieve their goals (often admission into USC!)
Over the past thirty years working in literature and theater in Los Angeles, Pete founded an internationally distributed literary magazine, won awards for theatrical lighting design, had several of his plays produced (including a short film adaptation of a one-act play), and worked in public relations, marketing and graphic design for large arts organizations.
An avid traveler, Pete has visited more than 50 countries (so far), including sailing half-way around the world. His passion for teaching and education is surpassed only by his love for his wife and their two children…and perhaps a perfect wave.
