Carrie R. Brown
Carrie R. Brown currently works as a fashion stylist for several independent labels. Prior to styling, she worked as an independent legal consultant focusing predominantly on commercial real-estate. She also served as corporate counsel at Brown & Brown Inc. from 2004 to 2016 where she negotiated leasing transactions, assisted in mergers & acquisitions, drafted insurance contracts, as well as participated in the company’s security filings. Prior to Brown & Brown, Inc., Carrie was a corporate associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from 2001 to 2004.
Carrie holds a B.A. in Philosophy from University of Southern California and a J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. She serves on the board of the Woodruff Art Center, and a member of its Nominating and Governance Committee. Carrie is a former member of the Board of Trustees of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, the Tampa Museum of Art, and Champions for Children in Tampa.
She is married to her husband, Barrett, and has two children, Prosser and Worley. She is an active member of her children’s school PTA, while also studying French with the hopes of one day relocating to France.
