David Moreno
David graduated from USC Dornsife in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. As an undergraduate student, David volunteered as a Dornsife Student Ambassador, served in a variety of roles within Undergraduate Student Government, worked at the Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics, and through the Institute’s internship program worked a plethora of internships throughout Los Angeles. During his senior year, David was a member of the Order of the Torch student leadership program, and upon graduation received the Order of Troy.
After graduation David worked at Consensus, Inc., a public relations/community engagement firm focused on crafting innovative communications programs and engaging communities on behalf of clients for various development and infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. He now works at Northwestern Mutual as part of a financial planning team and with his own practice, working with clients to develop comprehensive financial plans that outline how to accomplish their personal, professional, and financial goals, ultimately creating immediate and long-term financial security. He is especially passionate about working with clients from historically disadvantaged communities, such as people of color, women, first generation individuals, and more. David also supports his office’s College Financial Representative internship program.
He is currently an active member of Urban Land Institute Los Angeles, Central City Association of Los Angeles, and USC Latino Alumni Association. He also serves on the USC Alumni Association’s Young Alumni Council as Immediate Past Chair and as a member of the USC Alumni Association’s Centennial Advisory Committee.
