A merit-based scholarship, the Half Century Trojans Endowed Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who are direct descendants of Half Century Trojans.
Scholarship Details

$11,000 per year, renewable. A student may receive the award for a maximum of six undergraduate semesters if the student maintains a cumulative USC GPA of 3.0 and maintains full-time undergraduate student status.

Typically 8-11 new awards per year (depends on the number of continuing scholarship recipients).

Open only to continuing USC undergraduate students. Applicant must be a direct descendant (grandchild or great-grandchild) of (1) a person who received an undergraduate degree from USC 50 or more years ago, or (2) a person who received an undergraduate degree from a college or university 50 or more years ago and later received a graduate degree from USC. Selection criteria include academic achievement, potential for leadership, and community service. An interview is required for scholarship finalists. Finalists will be contacted by the Half Century Trojans Scholarship Committee.
Please note: Per University policy, no scholarship recipient may be a child, dependent, or relative of a current chairman, officer, or member in the awarding organization actively involved in the selection and funding of scholarships. For the purposes of the Half Century Trojans Scholarship, this policy includes the relatives of all Half Century Trojans board members.
