My brother Alessandro passed away in his home in Los Angeles at the age of 54 on Feb. 14, 2010, after a strenuous and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Rome, Italy on Dec. 15, 1955. He was an American citizen ad loved this country.

He was a passionate special education teacher at Fulton College Preparatory School in Van Nuys, loved his job and his kids. He is remembered as a special man, kind, intelligent, sensitive, funny and generous. He strongly believed in friendship and would give himself fully to the people around him. Alessandro was the “North Star” for many friends and family, and will be dearly missed in two continents.

Donations can be made in his memory to the “Alessandro Coricelli Scholarship,” to help a special education student attend college. Please send your donations to: Fulton College Prep School, Attn: Aurora Phillips Financial Manager, 7477 Kester Avenue, Van Nuys, CA 91405. Please specify “Alessandro Coricelli Scholarship.”
