Philanthropic organizations, also known as nonprofits or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) focus on promoting the public good and addressing various areas including social, cultural, environmental, and humanitarian issues. Their primary goal is on making a positive impact on society rather than making a profit.
Please use this small list to help give you ideas on potential internship or fellowships sites that might help you round out your experiences and give you the experience that graduate school admissions committees love to see.
