• SSEM 200: Sophomore Seminar Series The objective of this course is to expose students to different career paths that are available with a major in economics. The course is principally targeted to students who may not be in the job market yet, but that are interested in learning about the opportunities available with an economics major. Speakers are selected based on their success in their particular industry, and the objective is to show the wide array of job opportunities that are available with a background in economics. The industries covered include government (local, state, federal and international organizations), non-profit organizations, and the private sector (real estate, investment, technology, economic consulting, entertainment industry, entrepreneurship)., 2017-2018
