Minds in Development

Welcome to USC's Minds in Development Lab!
We study the origins and early forms of social cognition in infancy and young childhood.

News:

Henrike Moll was interviewed on something she has little time for: BOREDOM! She spoke with Junge Akademie Magazine here about how boredom can be a departure point for creativity in young children. Many parents these days do not leave a lot of room for boredom to creep into their children's lives. They structure and fill their time through and through. Could this potentially be a mistake?

We received this year's interdisciplinary Zumberge Award for a project on children's understanding of questions!

The Office of Naval Research (ONR) is funding our joint project on counterfactual reasoning with Morteza Dehghani. Click here for more.
