Jennifer Peet

Jennifer’s doctoral research sits at the intersection of population and environmental health, spatial science, and built environment design with a focus on how nature-based solutions influence health across the lifespan and across populations.

Her research interests draw on nature dose-response modeling, spatial epidemiology, remote sensing, and spatial analysis to understand how the designed and natural environment shapes wellbeing. Equally important to her is translation: turning spatial and epidemiological evidence into policy briefs, legislative mandates, and planning standards that structurally advance health.

She brings to this research a professional background spanning health informatics, microbial genomics, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic development at academic medical centers alongside earlier experience in law and higher education.
