Biography

I received my Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School in 2015, and was a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation from 2011 to 2015.

My research lies at the intersection of most applied microeconomics topics, focusing on policy issues that concern development, labor, and health. In my research, I have conducted extensive primary data collection involving Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) software and field experiments in addition to applying econometric techniques to establish causal mechanisms for policy issues. As such, I have experience with all phases of research, both in a support role and as a principal investigator.

As a research analyst, I have spent the past five years as part of international and interdisciplinary teams that bring together economists, physicians, statisticians, and social scientists across several countries. Thus, I understand the value of diverse perspectives as well as know how to work together with individuals across various disciplines and backgrounds.

  • Summary Statement of Research Interests
