Biography

Miguel Pereira received his Ph.D. from Washington University in Saint Louis in 2020. His research focus on political representation and the behavior of political elites in established democracies, with a focus on causal inference. He has also published work on women and politics, policy diffusion, and attitude formation. His articles have appeared or are forthcoming in the American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Journal of Experimental Political Science, Electoral Studies, and Political Research Quarterly, among others.
