Emily Artiano

Associate Professor (Teaching) of Writing


Emily Artiano is a Lecturer in the Writing Program. Dr. Artiano’s scholarship focuses on linguistic colonization and language negotiations primarily in early American literature. This scholarship informs her pedagogy, and she has presented her work at several national conferences. Since arriving at USC, Dr. Artiano has become involved in community engagement projects, which she incorporates into her classes.
