Biography

I am an Associate Teaching Professor of Writing in the Thematic Option Honors Program, with a focus on supporting the development of first year writing and research in the humanities. Recent course themes include “How to Do Nothing” and exploring Los Angeles through exploring genre. My background is in creative writing, poetry specifically—I received my M.F.A. in Poetry from UC Irvine. I have experience as an editor of creative journals, having overseen Palaver Arts Magazine, a USC student publication, for the past decade. I publish critically and creatively in the world of poetry.
