Eli Levenson-Falk is the PI of LFL and an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics & Astronomy with a joint appointment in the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical & Computer engineering. He received his bachelor’s degree at Harvard University and his PhD at UC Berkeley, and was a postdoctoral scholar at Stanford University. When not in the lab he can usually be found hiking, eating, injuring himself playing ultimate frisbee, or rehabbing from injuries.

Daria is a postdoctoral scholar working at LFL since 2023. He earned his PhD in Physics from the Murch research group at Washington University in St. Louis. He enjoys baking on the weekends.

Sacha is a sixth-year PhD student working jointly with the theory group of Justin Dressel at Chapman University. Sacha develops weak measurement-based experiments and models the readout process in superconducting devices. They received a BA in physics at Carleton College. When not doing physics, they enjoy practicing Zen Buddhism and generally being a human being.

Vivek is a fifth-year PhD student in physics working on multimodal superconducting circuits, open system dynamics, and gate design and calibration. He earned his BS in physics at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. He enjoys drinking coffee and making pottery that’s always too small to fit his coffee.

Malida is a fourth-year Ph.D. student working on bath engineering for improving qubit control and readout. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Physics at San Diego State University. She spends her free time at the beach, at concerts, and hanging with friends.

Anshu is a third-year PhD student in physics working on quasiparticles. She earned her BS-MS in physics from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) at Mohali. Before joining USC, she worked as a research assistant at Max Planck Institute of Solid State Physics in quantum sensing. In her free time, she likes exploring Los Angeles and taking care of plants.

Saikat is a second-year PhD student in physics working on nonlinear dynamics in superconducting circuits. He did his BS in Physics and Computer Science at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Outside the lab, he enjoys playing guitar.
