Misti Mukhopadhyay Sangani

Misti Mukhopadhyay Sangani is Managing Director, Senior Philanthropic Strategist at Bank of America Private Bank.

In her role, Misti delivers customized consulting and advisory services to private foundations, institutions, and individuals. She advises families in their philanthropic journeys on multi-generational giving, international grantmaking, and values based decision-making and works with institutional clients on Board governance, evaluating programs, and deepening relationships with donors. She finds joy in helping to build enduring and impactful relationships between donors and the organizations they support.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Misti served as Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF), where she was responsible for leading SVCF’s donor engagement program, corporate responsibility work, and donor services. Prior to joining SVCF, Misti was Executive Director of the Foundation for Sustainable Development. Previously, she served as the Vice President of Programs and Evaluation at the Global Fund for Women.

Misti holds a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in International Relations from Boston University. In addition to proudly serving on the USC Dornsife Alumni Advisory Council, she is currently a Board member of JobTrain. Previously, Misti served on the Boards of the Bullis-Purissima Elementary School Foundation and the Community Health Awareness Council. Misti lives in Los Altos, California with her husband and two daughters.
