B.S., Hospitality Management ’15, University of Florida
I was born and raised in a small town just north of Atlanta, Georgia. My dream of following in my dad’s footsteps took me to the University of Florida where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Event Management and began a career in the events industry. After working in Atlanta for a few years post-graduation, I decided to leave my Southern roots and live life on the west coast. Shortly after moving to Los Angeles in 2019, I was honored to join the Signature Events team who gave me a home within the Trojan Family. In May of 2022, I moved over to the Dornsife Alumni Relations team where I have the pleasure of engaging with alumni and friends of USC. In my spare time, I enjoy being at the beach, playing and watching sports, and visiting new spots around Southern California.
As a freshly graduated senior from high school, my first trip out of the South was to Los Angeles. I can specifically relive my thoughts and feelings visiting the University of Southern California campus for the first time. Walking through campus that summer day at the time a California sunset filled the sky felt magical. When given the opportunity to work for this prestigious university, the answer was an easy “yes.” During my time here, I have enjoyed building connections with people and planning events that create experiences and memories for those who cherish USC.
Favorite USC Memory
Being an avid sports fan, my favorite USC memory is attending my first USC vs. Notre Dame football game in South Bend. The rivalry between these schools runs deep, and I was thrilled to experience it as a new and proud USC staff member turned fan. From the weekend stay in Chicago with USC fans buzzing around the city to the entire Trojan Marching Band playing at the tailgate to the freezing temperatures in the football stadium, it was an incredibly fun-filled, Trojan-spirited weekend that I will remember.
