CEO, Givingli
Nicole Emrani Green is the co-founder and chief creative officer of Givingli, an app for sending digital cards. Inspired by her own wedding and a desire to make giving more thoughtful and beautifully designed, Green has helped build Givingli into a brand used by millions to celebrate birthdays, milestones and everything in between.
Growing up in Los Angeles, Green was aware of the tight-knit Trojan Family before she ever arrived on campus. “Anywhere I wanted to be, there was a connection to someone who has attended USC or had a connection to the USC community,” she says. While studying psychology at USC Dornsife, Green says the “entrepreneurial energy” on the USC campus opened her up to the possibility of someday starting her own business.
She completed a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at Alliant International University in 2016. Her education helps guide her human-centered approach to design, leadership and brand-building, she says.
“What I love most about my job is the ability to create and work with other creatives like the artists who design our cards. I am always collaborating with incredibly talented individuals with the intention to build something beautiful.”
