Sungita Patel
Sungita Patel is an alumna of USC Dornsife, proudly graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology. Hailing from Birmingham, UK, she started as an international student at USC, and a first-generation college graduate. After earning her degree, she entered the fast-paced world of Pharmaceuticals, joining a start-up, AlleCure in Chatsworth, CA (an Alfred E. Mann company) where she worked in Clinical Development and Operations.
With over two decades of experience in diverse Clinical Development consulting roles within startups, mid-size and large Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical companies, she has carved out her niche in the industry. Her deep passion for problem-solving and strong leadership skills empowers her to effectively lead and manage teams and directly implement clinical development programs.
Sungita has mentored students and career professionals transitioning into Biotech/Pharma and is an advocate of women’s self-empowerment. Her goal is to inspire future leaders in the Pharmaceutical industry. She belongs to and actively participates in numerous industry groups.
Her love for travel fuels her spirit, and she lives in San Diego, CA, with her family. Sungita is honored to serve on the USC Dornsife Alumni Advisory Council.
