USC Dornsife College: Your Gateway to Graduate Education

  • Pre-Law

USC students, alumni, and staff who are interested in going to law school can take part in events and services offered by the Pre-Law Program at USC.  Students can consult one-on-one with academic advisors in the Dornsife College Advising Office who specialize in this area. Pre-law advisors assist current USC students in crafting an undergraduate academic program designed to lead to law school admission and assist alumni on an as needed basis regarding their candidacy. Pre-law advisors specifically aid in all aspects of the law school application process, including law school selection, how to write an effective personal statement, how to request appropriate letters of recommendation, and providing guidance in academic and non-academic opportunities.

  • Pre-Health

Student-centered one-on-one advisement designed to address individual interests and goals as it pertains to students’ undergraduate and Pre-Professional experience in the Medical, Dental, and Allied-Health Professions.

Visit the USC Pre-Health website for more information.

  • Pre-Graduate School

Pre-Graduate School Advising serves all current students and alumni at the University of Southern California who are considering graduate school.  We offer a wide variety of advising services to guide students through the academic and administrative processes necessary to achieve their goals. The Pre-Graduate School Advisors support students through logistical elements involved in the application process, assist in the composition and review of personal statements, provide students the tools to conduct successful preparatory research, offer students resources for test preparation, and work with students to locate resources for funding. Pre-Graduate School Advising is dedicated to helping students become self-directed learners who can assume a significant role in their pre-professional education.

Visit the Pre-Graduate School webpage for more information.
