USC students, alumni, and staff who are interested in going to law school can take part in events and services offered by the pre-law program at USC Dornsife College. Students can consult one-on-one with academic advisors in theUSC Dornsife Office of Advising who specialize in this area. Pre-law advisors assist current USC students in crafting an undergraduate academic program designed to lead to law school admission and assist alumni on an as needed basis regarding their candidacy. Pre-law advisors specifically aid in all aspects of the law school application process, including law school selection, how to write an effective personal statement, how to request appropriate letters of recommendation, and providing guidance in academic and non-academic opportunities. Each semester we also strive to host a variety of workshops and events geared to prepare our students for success in the admissions process. Services and events provided by the pre-law program include:
Annual Law School Fair - The Best Law Fair in Southern California
Law School Personal Statement & Resume Review
Brown Bag Series - Small group discussion sessions led by current USC Gould School of Law students
