Welcome to the Miller Lab at USC

USC Dornsife Dean Amber D. Miller, professor of physics and astronomy and Anna H. Bing Dean’s Chair, leads the USC Experimental Cosmology group dedicated to studying relic signatures from the Big Bang with the goal of understanding the origin and evolution of the universe. Specifically, the team studies the polarization of the cosmic microwave background using sensitive centimeter and millimeter-wave instruments designed specifically for this work. The USC team designs, builds, and deploys telescopes and analyzes data using cutting-edge technology, much of which is piloted and tested by the group.
