Biographical Sketch
Jack Peters has been a fulltime chessplayer and chess teacher for more than 35 years. He earned the title of International Master (one level below grandmaster) in 1979. He has taught thousands of children and adults how to play chess. Since 1982, he has written the weekly chess column in the Los Angeles Times.
