It includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Original research that connects with the Wrigley Institute&#8217;s activities;<\/li>\n<li>Faculty Innovation Award grants to seed related research across USC;<\/li>\n<li>Internships, seminars, and other educational opportunities to equip USC undergraduates for leadership in climate and carbon management; and<\/li>\n<li>Annual events to engage the public on topics related to climate resilience, sustainability, and the social and economic dimensions of carbon and climate solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n      \n                  \n<div     \n<div class=\"f--field f--description\">\n\n    \n  <p>The Future of Plastics initiative tackles one of our most pervasive and complicated environmental problems: plastics pollution.<\/p>\n<p>Focused on forward-thinking, interdisciplinary approaches, this initiative seeks ways to reduce and replace plastics in our everyday lives, and combines insights from chemistry and business to create better markets for upcycling and recycling.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to original research projects, Future of Plastics emphasizes collaboration with community stakeholders and
