the Earth and Environmental Systems launchpad supports projects that monitor and generate data about our changing planet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">These projects draw on the latest research in fields such as marine biology, oceanography, microbiology, geology, and terrestrial ecology, to improve our understanding of the environmental changes that may threaten our future.<\/p>\n<p>Current and past projects in this area include long-term monitoring of Southern California&#8217;s San Pedro Channel, preservation and restoration of coral reefs, studies of pollinator biodiversity, and \n  <p class=\"p1\">The Applied Environmental Solutions launchpad serves as the Wrigley Institute\u2019s research and development hub for solving our world\u2019s manifold and growing environmental challenges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We turn science into action by testing the feasibility of new ideas and determining how to convert them into workable practices and technology.<\/p>\n<p>Current and Transformation\n      <\/h2>\n\n\n<\/div>\n      \n                  \n<div class=\"f--field f--description\">\n\n    \n  <p class=\"p1\">Scientific insights and menus of solutions are of little value if people can\u2019t understand or won\u2019t deploy them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Drawing on the social and behavioral sciences, arts, and humanities, projects in the Social Transformation launchpad seek insights into how people think, what they believe, and how they behave.
