All the Space(s) You Need
You don’t have to sacrifice comfort, convenience, or connectivity just because you’re immersed in nature.
Literally from the top of our campus to the bottom, the Wrigley Marine Science Center offers modern, fully-equipped facilities for scientific research, university classes, workshops, meetings, and more.
Labs
When you’re at WMSC, all of Catalina Island is your laboratory. We also have a variety of dedicated research facilities, including a three-floor lab building, a greenhouse/bluehouse, and waterfront research tanks.
Classroom & Meeting Spaces
In addition to traditional classrooms and meeting spaces, our campus offers indoor and outdoor flex spaces, plus a lecture hall and amphitheater for large gatherings.
Waterfront & Cove
Our cove – a Mission Blue Hope Spot and part of the IUCN’s Green List of exceptional conservation areas – is an education and research facility in its own right. Need diving or boating support for your work? We’ve got that covered, too.
Vehicles
Need to go farther afield for classes or research? WMSC offers a small rental fleet of vehicles equipped for island roads, with plenty of passenger and cargo space for your needs.
Housing & Dining
We offer multiple housing options to accommodate both individuals and groups, and our dining hall team will keep you well-fueled for your island adventures.
Boone Conference Center
Get away from distractions and focus on changing the world at the George and MaryLou Boone Conference Center. Perfect for workshops, business meetings, and small conferences, the Boone Center offers premium housing and meeting space in the heart of pristine Catalina Island.
