Mixed-use waterfronts contribute to our nation\u2019s economic vitality and quality of life. Unfortunately, many of these working waterfronts face a growing number of challenges. To meet these challenges, members of the National Working Waterfront Network, a group of municipalities, federal and state agencies, NOAA Sea Grant programs, businesses, and community development organizations, conducted research and developed a new information resource, with funding from the U.S. Department of Commerce\u2019s Economic Development Agency, to help secure the future of our nation\u2019s working waterfronts and waterways.
