In honor of USC Sea Grant's 50th celebration, we are hosting a series of virtual Lunch and Learns over the year focused on topics in which our program is closely involved including the Ports, Ocean Literacy, Climate Adaptation, and Coastal Research. Check out the resources below to watch our previous Lunch and Learn events and register for upcoming Lunch and Learn events.
Our first virtual event occurred in February 2022 and included a discussion between USC Sea Grant's Dr. James Fawcett and the Marine Exchange of Southern California's Executive Director, CAPT J. Kipling Louttit. Watch this Lunch and Learn to learn all about keeping our ports safe and efficient in a rapidly changing environment. Following the discussion, the event included a Q&A session.

Our second virtual event occurred in June 2022 and included a discussion about the past, present, and future efforts for advancing Ocean Literacy. The event's discussion was between three Sea Grant and NOAA professionals, all of who play an integral part in furthering Ocean Literacy: Lynn Whitley (USC Wrigley Institute and USC Sea Grant Emirati), Diana Payne (Connecticut Sea Grant), and Sarah Schoedinger (NOAA Education). Following the discussion, the event included a Q&A session.
