Our Services

Here is a list of the services offered at the USC Genome Core:

  • SEQUENCING

    We offer sequencing with two different NGS technologies: Illumina and Ion Torrent. Click here to find out more details.

  • LIBRARY PREPARATION

    We offer library preparation services for a wide variety of applications. The most common type of libraries we prepare are whole-genome, whole-transcriptome (RNAseq), Bisulfite converted, and miRNA libraries. Click here to know more.

  • LIBRARY QC

    All libraries must pass a strict 3-step quality control process before they are loaded into the sequencer. Click here to learn more about library QC.

  • BIOANALYZER

    The USC Genome Core is equipped with an Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100. If you are interested in running your samples in the bioanalyzer, please click here.

  • RNA ANALYSIS

    Checking the quality of a RNA sample is vital before proceeding with library preparation and sequencing.  Click here to know more about our RNA QC service.

  • DNA SHEARING
