This major focuses not only on language, linguistics and literature, but also related areas, such as cultural and literary theory, film studies, the culture of food, and the acquisition and uses of Spanish and English in Los Angeles. The program benefits from USC’s location in Los Angeles, a Spanish-speaking metropolis and an ideal site for thinking about our transcultural world.
