This interdisciplinary major bridges the space between biology, chemistry, data science, and engineering.
It allows students interested in studying the life sciences to achieve a fuller background in the quantitative sciences such as computer science and statistics that are essential for modern data-driven biological science.
The Quantitative Biology major is designed to train students to be both high-level biologists and high-level data analysts. Students will take an introductory seminar, participate in undergraduate research and write an honors thesis.
