Philosophy and Physics

This new interdisciplinary major combines the core theoretical ideas of a Physics major with the central themes of a Philosophy major.

Students of Philosophy and Physics will learn to merge mathematical tools with argumentative writing, and to grapple with questions of modern physics that are central to both fields.

Graduates of the program offer an unusual and valuable combination of skills to employers in commerce and industry, and are also well prepared to pursue post-graduate studies in any number of related fields.
