USC Sea Grant

A participant in the National Sea Grant College Program for more than 40 years, USC Sea Grant focuses funding, research, and programming on the urban ocean. As one of the most densely populated coastal regions in the world, Los Angeles serves as a prototype for how massive cities will continue to influence the sea. USC Sea Grant aims to bring decision-makers, scientists, and the public together to find solutions to issues of the urban ocean that are informed by the best available science.
