Latin American and Iberian Cultures

The Department of Latin American and Iberian Cultures at USC Dornsife explores the languages and cultures of Portuguese- and Spanish-speaking communities around the world. Students learn from a racially, ethnically, and nationally diverse group of faculty with research specialties that include Latin American and Iberian film and media, literary and critical theory, feminist and queer theory, and much more. With a number of exciting opportunities to learn abroad in Spain, Mexico, Brazil and more, students have the opportunity to apply knowledge internationally and gain new perspectives on the world.
