Center for Advanced Genocide Research

The USC Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research is committed to studying genocide with the goal of preventing it from happening again. The center hosts academic initiatives including international fellowships and annual conferences, a lecture series, and unique research opportunities. Research focuses on three areas: the study of conditions that enable societies to slow or stop mass violence; the emotional, social, and psychological impacts of mass violence on individual behavior; and the use of large datasets for sophisticated quantitative analysis.
