We are using a combination of fMRI, structural MRI, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), personality questionnaires, and computational modeling to attempt to capture the components and the neural circuit that underlies risky decision making.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We previously worked on an NIGMS funded grant on computational modeling of motivation, personality and risky decision-making. This work was done in collaboration with a group at the University of Colorado at Boulder, including Seth Herd, Randy O\u2019Reilly, and Tom Hazy. The project attempted to build a neurobiologically based model of the major components involved in risky decision-making.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>Interactive Media and Changing Risky Sexual Behavior<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Lynn Miller and I had an extensive body of work over about 20 years on using Interactive Media to change risky sexual behavior in men who have sex with men.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n  <\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":402,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-329","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Prior Work - Stephen J.
