\n Reserving Lab Facilities\n <\/h2>\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n \n

All Experimenters<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Please be sure to estimate the space and time you\u2019ll need based on RA and participant availability as best you can.<\/li>\n
  2. All RA’s need to submit the Lab Procedures Form electronically to receive their own lock code.<\/li>\n
  3. PIs, please use your own name for the reservation. If you require additional RA information, feel free to add them in the comments section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Social Psychology Area Users<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Social Psychology graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, faculty, and research staff havedirect access to the online scheduling system for the purpose of reserving lab space fortheir own studies, under their own name.<\/li>\n
    2. If you are a social psychology graduate student, post-doc, faculty or research staff but donot have access to the online scheduling site, please contact the lab coordinator.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Guests to the Social Behavior Lab (Non-Social Psychology Area<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. If you are a guest to the Social Behavior Lab, please feel free to check the SBL Online. Guest users can now reserve lab spaces for their studies.<\/li>\n
      2. Submit the Lab Room Request (“Online Scheduling Tab”) electronically. Once it has been submitted, lab coordinator will provide access to the online scheduling.<\/li>\n
      3. Scheduling site for room and time availability:\n
          \n
        1. Name, Phone Number, Email Address, and PI\/Lab\/Area<\/li>\n
        2. Room(s) Desired<\/li>\n
        3. Date(s) and Time(s) Desired<\/li>\n
        4. Study needs (computer availability, room capacity, etc)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        5. Guidelines for Guest Reservations:\n
            \n
          1. Guests can reserve up to 30 hours\/wk.*Note<\/strong>: While single testing room hours count as normal hours would, group testing room hours will be counted as 2-4 hours\/hour reserved depending on the size of the space and accommodations.<\/li>\n
          2. Guests can reserve a week\u2019s worth of lab space a week before the desired reservation at the earliestEx. If you need to make room reservations for the week on Mon 6\/24 – Fri 6\/28. you may start making room reservations starting on Thursday<\/strong>, 6\/20.<\/li>\n
          3. Please cancel reservations at least 24 hours in advance through the lab coordinator.Properly cancelled hours will not count towards 30 hour weekly total.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            \n Using the Lab\n <\/h2>\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n \n
            \n\n \n

            1. We have a dedicated Experimenter Control Room, 801J, that has a desktop computer and file cabinets for holding
            \n study materials.<\/p>\n

            2. Please utilize the door signs attached to the room # placards. These signs help to prevent interruptions and keep the
            \n lab running smoothly. Please also keep the doors open when rooms are not in use.<\/p>\n

            3. When you are the last person leaving the lab, please shut down the computers and turn off the lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

            \n Accessing Additional Resources\n <\/h2>\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n \n

            1. If you would like to borrow any lab resources (e.g., laptops, ipads), contact the lab coordinator.<\/p>\n

            2. If you have any questions about software availability in the SBL or would like to request training on any lab resources,
