Once you are Accepted to the Honors Program<\/span>\n            \n                      <\/button>\n\n          <div id=\"section-1-3-bwD7lgpwS5\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-1-3-bwD7lgpwS5\" class=\"accordion-panel\">\n\n                            \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div\n  class=\"cc--component-container cc--rich-text \"\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  >\n  <div class=\"c--component c--rich-text\"\n    \n      >\n\n    \n      \n<div class=\"f--field f--wysiwyg\">\n\n    \n  <ul>\n<li><strong>Choose an advisor and submit Honors Thesis Intent form<\/strong>: You and your advisor must sign the <a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/soci\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/115\/2023\/03\/Honors-Thesis-Statement-of-Intent-2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Honors Thesis Statement of Intent form<\/a>\u00a0and turn it in to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:soci@dornsife.usc.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">soci@dornsife.usc.edu<\/a> <strong>no later than the last Friday in September of your senior year\u00a0<\/strong>(but earlier if possible).<\/li>\n<li>Create and follow a meeting and deadlines schedule with your thesis advisor.\n<ul>\n<li>We recommend creating a schedule of when you will check in with your advisor (at least 2-3 times per semester).
