January 31. <\/strong>Discussion about writing\u00a0 a resume, followed by JE’s presentation about Limit Theorems in Parabolic Double Cosets of the Symmetric Group.

February 7.<\/strong> Discussion about writing a cover letter, followed by Alex’s presentation about Non-interactive simulation with Gaussian sources.<\/p>\n

February 14.<\/strong> Discussion about an HR interview during the hiring process; then, presentation by Xinze about Dimension-free average treatment effect inference with deep neural networks.<\/p>\n

February 21.<\/strong> No meeting (Presidents’ Day)<\/p>\n

February 28.<\/strong> An extensive discussion, lead by Apoorva, of\u00a0 various coding interviews and best ways to prepare for them.<\/p>\n

March 7.<\/strong> Discussion of salary negotiation, followed by Apoorva’s presentation on Gaussian free fields and stochastic heat equation (preparation for the defense).<\/p>\n
