She has always had a passion for art and knew she wanted to be an artist \u201cwhen she grew up\u201d after learning about van Gogh in kindergarten. After earning her transfer credits in 2013 from Merced College, she went on to attain her Bachelors in Fine Art from UC Berkeley in 2015 as a single mother; her son is now 11 years old. She has recently applied for the Graduate program at Fresno State University. Alyssa primarily works with oil paint and frequently uses portraiture as her subject matter.
