Given the team of educators, the classroom learning opportunity is clearly impressive. This unique experience can also lead to a lifetime engagement with that location and it&#8217;s peoples, with friendships that are forged during a cultural or field program enduring over time. The Kenyan cultural immersion program I participated in during my undergraduate career, was my first exposure to African culture and landscapes and has led to lifelong connection and a career working with the wildlife and people there.
