The research activities include, but not limited to, the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials and structures, and development of novel devices with low power consumption, enhanced performance, versatile functionalities and high integration density.<\/p>\n<p>As one of the national initiative, nanotechnology, which exploits materials of dimension smaller than 100 nanometers, is addressing the challenge of the present microelectronic industry and offering exciting new possibilities.
