f--description\">\n\n    \n  <p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Progressive degree students are classified as undergraduate students until they attain one of the following conditions, whichever comes first: <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Up to and including the semester they completed 144 units <strong>AND<\/strong> <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Their first bachelor\u2019s degree is conferred; <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>OR<\/strong> They receive a research or teaching assistant award<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n                          \n  \n <p>MAPP accepts admissions only for the fall semester. Applicants are encouraged to plan accordingly, as there are no spring or summer intake periods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fall 2025 deadline is April 15, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n                    <\/div>\n    \n            <div class=\"cards-container\">\n            \n                <div class=\"card\">\n\n                    <div class=\"title-description\">\n\n                                                      \n<div class=\"f--field f--cta-title\">\n\n    \n  <h3>\n          Application Requirement\n      <\/h3>\n\n\n<\/div>\n                        \n                                                        \n<div class=\"f--field f--description\">\n\n    \n  <p class=\"p1\"><strong>Before applying, prospective PDP students must:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Meet with your undergraduate advisor to review Degree Progress and USC PDP eligibility.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Request an advising appointment with a MAPP admissions counselor.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Meet with a MAPP admissions counselor to discuss eligibility and next steps.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>If approved to move forward with the application process, the following items are required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/undergrad.usc.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2023\/01\/2022-Progressive-Degree-Application.pdf\">USC PDP Application<\/a>, completed and signed by all required parties.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Three letters of recommendation (at least one must be from a USC professor).<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Professional resume.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Personal statement addressing the following:\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">How do your background, experiences, and interests lead you to apply psychology in organizations for the benefit of consumers or employees?<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Why do you believe the USC MAPP program will help you achieve your career goals?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n                        \n                    <\/div>\n\n\n                    \n                <\/div>\n\n            \n                <div class=\"card\">\n\n                    <div class=\"title-description\">\n\n                                                      \n<div class=\"f--field f--cta-title\">\n\n    \n  <h3>\n          Approval \n      <\/h3>\n\n\n<\/div>\n                        \n                                                        \n<div class=\"f--field f--description\">\n\n    \n  <p>Admission requires approval from the program\/department chair and the dean of the student\u2019s undergraduate major, and by the program\/department chair and the dean of the master\u2019s degree program at USC. The completed application form must show all signatures required for approval.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting the minimum requirements <b>does not<\/b> guarantee admission to the program.
