Matilda Bathurst’s work as a writer has led her from London, to Chennai, to Paris, and now to Los Angeles. She is a graduate of the University of Cambridge and the University of Iowa, and she is a contributor to Apollo, ARTnews, and The Economist, among other publications. Having worked for several years with leading architects in Los Angeles, she is fascinated by the rhythms and contradictions of the built environment – best experienced, she believes, when navigating the city by bicycle. She lives in Koreatown and can be found on Friday nights at The Prince or The Bounty.
