At the Nuzhdin Lab, we are focused on interdisciplinary questions rather than a single model system. Our research is at the interface of quantitative genetics, population genetics, and development. Our lab members work on a variety of systems including drosophila, shellfish and plants. Our topics include genotype-environment interactions, the evolution & development of complex structures, plant genome assembly, and industry-based technological applications
