Molecular Mechanisms of Synaptic Plasticity and Brain-Related Disease

We combine innovative genetic approaches with optogenetic, electrophysiological and super-resolution imaging techniques to gain insight into the molecular underpinnings of synaptic function. More specifically, we are interested in the molecular mechanisms governing synaptic plasticity and how dysregulation of these mechanisms gives rise to neuropsychiatric and neurodevelopmental disease.
