Anchored by the phrase \u201cReflections for America at 250,\u201d the THIS LAND IS\u2026 initiative<\/a> draws on The Huntington\u2019s library, art, and botanical collections to spotlight relationships between land, United States history, and American identities.<\/p>\n

The initiative\u2019s title references the iconic 1940s folk song \u201cThis Land Is Your Land\u201d by Woody Guthrie, with an ellipsis that invites visitors to reflect on land as both a geographical and metaphorical space of promise, struggle, and belonging.<\/p>\n

Launched in fall 2025 and continuing through 2027, THIS LAND IS\u2026 will unfold across gallery reinterpretations, a major exhibition<\/a> and companion publication, a renovated garden space, and public and educational programs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n\n\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
