Ruth Hyun-Bee Chung is a Clinical Professor in the Rossier School of Education in the Psychology in Education concentration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her expertise is in multicultural counseling with particular focus on Asian American families, intergenerational conflict in immigrant families, and cultural identity development of multicultural adolescents and young adults.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yong Duk Jhun is a full-time tenure-track professor in the Film & Television Production Division at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he teaches in the Virtual Production program.<\/p>\n

His research and creative interests focus on cinematic camera language, narrative structure, previsualization, and the application of traditional film grammar within virtual and real time production environments. His professional work spans feature animation, virtual production, and he has served as Director and Head of Cinematography on major studio films including\u00a0Kung Fu Panda<\/i>,\u00a0Shrek<\/i>,\u00a0The Croods<\/i>,\u00a0Trolls<\/i>,\u00a0Vivo<\/i>,\u00a0The Tiger\u2019s Apprentice<\/i>, and\u00a0The Smurfs Movie<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Seon<\/span>\u00a0Ho<\/span>\u00a0Kim<\/span>\u00a0is a Research Scientist and Associate Director in the Integrated Media Systems Center (IMSC) at the University of Southern California, and a teaching faculty in Data Science program in the Viterbi School of Engineering. He is also the founder and president of SoDAVi (Social Data Analysis and Visualization) Group, a non-profit organization which aims for providing data collection and analysis service to Korean-American community. His research interests include multimedia systems, databases, Big Data, image machine learning, and mobile media data management, where he has more than 100 publications including a textbook, patents, major journal papers, and top conference papers. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n <\/div>\n \n

Jonathan Markowitz is an associate professor in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California. He is also a Co-Founder and Co-PI of the US-Asia Grand Strategy Pre-doctoral Fellows Program.<\/p>\n

His research focus includes grand strategy, resource competition, and the political economy of security.<\/p>\n

\n\n \n

Hyungsik Roger Moon is a professor in Economics at the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.<\/p>\n

His specialty is econometrics theory and its applications. Econometrics is a field of economics that studies data analysis. His econometrics research topics include panel data analysis, inference for partially identified econometric models, and nonstationary time series analysis. His application topics include SVARs, forecasting, empirical games, income dynamics, social interaction and networks, and the economics of education. Recently, he has broadened his research horizons into bio\/medical statistics and has published papers investigating global forecasting of COVID-19 infections and survival analysis of the clinical study of GV1001 for pancreatic cancer.<\/p>\n

He was elected as a Fellow of the Econometric Society in 2023 and has been serving on the editorial boards of economics journals on both sides of the Pacific. At USC, he regularly teaches regression analysis and time series econometrics to Ph.D. students. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n\n <\/div>\n \n

\n\n \n

Doris Sung is a professor of Architecture in the USC School of Architecture.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her research specialty is in sustainable architectural design. In her creative research practice, she is utilizing smart materials, such as thermobimetals, to self-ventilate, self-shade, self-structure, self-assemble, and self-propel in response to changes in climatic temperatures\u2014all with zero-energy and no controls. More recently, she is rethinking the liminal surface of the fa\u00e7ade as a part of a city\u2019s infrastructure and designing innovative building products that will improve public health for outside pedestrians.<\/p>\n

She teaches various courses on architectural design, current themes in architectural theory, and the innovation of building products, systems and techniques.<\/span><\/p>\n
