JEP uses a peer educator approach to support more than 150 service-learning courses each semester. JEP students earn course credit while providing service at a wide range of sites, including local schools, non-profits, health and legal clinics, and other community-based organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n  <\/div><\/div>\n            \n                      <\/div>\n        <\/li>\n\n              <li>\n          <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-trigger \" id=\"heading-1-2-OI55yvzkNW\" aria-controls=\"section-1-2-OI55yvzkNW\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-disabled=\"false\">\n                          <span class=\"item-title\">ReadersPlus<\/span>\n            \n                      <\/button>\n\n          <div id=\"section-1-2-OI55yvzkNW\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-1-2-OI55yvzkNW\" class=\"accordion-panel\">\n\n                            \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div\n  class=\"cc--component-container cc--rich-text \"\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  >\n  <div class=\"c--component c--rich-text\"\n    \n      >\n\n    \n      \n<div class=\"f--field f--wysiwyg\">\n\n    \n  <p>USC ReadersPLUS is an America Reads\/America Counts literacy and math tutoring program operated by JEP at seven local schools. Since the program began in 1997, ReadersPLUS has trained and placed approximately 100 work-study students every semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n  <\/div><\/div>\n            \n                      <\/div>\n        <\/li>\n\n              <li>\n          <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-trigger \" id=\"heading-1-3-OI55yvzkNW\" aria-controls=\"section-1-3-OI55yvzkNW\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-disabled=\"false\">\n                          <span class=\"item-title\">STEM Education Programs<\/span>\n            \n                      <\/button>\n\n          <div id=\"section-1-3-OI55yvzkNW\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-1-3-OI55yvzkNW\" class=\"accordion-panel\">\n\n                            \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div\n  class=\"cc--component-container cc--rich-text \"\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  >\n  <div class=\"c--component c--rich-text\"\n    \n      >\n\n    \n      \n<div class=\"f--field f--wysiwyg\">\n\n    \n  <p>JEP\u2019s STEM Education Programs include the Young Scientists Program, WonderKids, and the Medical STEM program. All of the programs bring hands-on and inquiry-based STEM experiences to students in each of our seven partner schools<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n  <\/div><\/div>\n            \n                      <\/div>\n        <\/li>\n\n              <li>\n          <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-trigger \" id=\"heading-1-4-OI55yvzkNW\" aria-controls=\"section-1-4-OI55yvzkNW\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-disabled=\"false\">\n                          <span class=\"item-title\">Social and Emotional Learning Programs<\/span>\n            \n                      <\/button>\n\n          <div id=\"section-1-4-OI55yvzkNW\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"heading-1-4-OI55yvzkNW\" class=\"accordion-panel\">\n\n                            \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n<div\n  class=\"cc--component-container cc--rich-text \"\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  >\n  <div class=\"c--component c--rich-text\"\n    \n      >\n\n    \n      \n<div class=\"f--field f--wysiwyg\">\n\n    \n  <p>Programs like Little Yoginis, which integrates children\u2019s literature with yoga postures, meditation and mindfulness, and the Peace Project, which combines lessons about peacemaking with meditation, movement, dance,<br \/>\nmusic and art activities, help USC and community<br \/>\nstudents develop tools to be more present,<br \/>\nfocused and calm throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n  <\/div><\/div>\n            \n                      <\/div>\n        <\/li>\n\n              <li>\n          <button type=\"button\" class=\"accordion-trigger \" passage\u201d associated with becoming a college student while helping local high school seniors prepare for that transition themselves.
