This is supported by microstructural analysis to elucidate the deformational mechanisms and rheology of deformed rocks, thermobarometry and geochronology to define pressure-temperature-time paths, and paleomagnetism to determine the rotational history.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>I collaborate with scientists from many other disciplines, including geophysics, geochronology, and petrology.<\/p>\n<h2>Graduate Study at USC<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p3\">We have an active research group working on a variety of projects described here, but sadly, I will not be taking on any more graduate students. I do collaborate, however, with several of my faculty colleagues at USC, and I am happy to co-advise graduate students.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We have generous 5-year support packages for graduate students, and welcome applications from the US and other countries.
