IEPR&#8217;s main goal is to support, enhance and promote research activities of the faculty of the department of Economics at USC.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute organizes conferences, lectures, public seminars, sponsors workshops, promotes collaborative interdisciplinary scholarship, intended to contribute to a broad understanding of economic policy. The institute also supports research in several areas in various ways. In the recent years, IEPR has sponsored activities around high impact themes including Macroeconomic Policy, Mechanism Design and Behavioral Economics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Juan D.
